Getting started
What is this site?
A map of every yard, garage, moving, estate and community sale in your town, with a route planner. Browsing is free and there are no ads, ever.
What does “no clutter” mean?
Nothing piles up. Last weekend's sales come off the map on Sunday night, Last Call leftovers clear on Friday, unposted drafts clear after 14 days, and old conversations clear themselves. What you see is what's on now — nothing to wade through.
Do I need an account to look at sales?
No. Anyone can browse the map, search and plan a route. You need a free account to post a sale, save routes, or message sellers on Last Call.
How do I sign in? Is there a password?
No passwords. Enter your email and we send a fresh 6-digit code every time (good for 10 minutes). New email? That creates your account.
Why do you need my phone number?
We text a one-time code to verify it — it keeps fake sales and spam off the map. Your number is never shown to anyone.
How do I see the how-it-works tour again?
Tap “How it works” at the bottom of any page.
Finding sales
How do I find something specific?
Use the search box above the list — try “crib”, “drill” or “vinyl”. Sellers' item lists are searchable. Chips like “Estate & moving” or “Church & bazaars” narrow it by kind of sale.
What do the pin colors mean?
Red = household sale, green = church, charity, school or other non-profit, navy = business. A gold ring means early birds are welcome.
Can I see sales in nearby towns?
Yes — change “town only” to a distance (5–100 miles) above the list, measured from the town or from your saved home.
How does the route planner work?
Tap “+ Route” on up to 11 sales, enter where you're starting, and tap “Build my route”. It puts them in the fastest order. Then tap “Open the whole route” to load every stop into Google Maps or Apple Maps (iOS 18.4+) — long routes are split into two parts, the most those apps take at once. Using Waze or an older iPhone? Go stop by stop: “Directions” takes you to the next sale and “Next sale” moves you on; your place is remembered if you close the page. A whole street sale counts as one stop — park once and walk it.
When do this weekend's sales appear?
Sales for the coming weekend show from Monday. Everything resets Sunday night. Churches and craft fairs can be announced earlier on the Holiday Sale Calendar.
Can I go before the start time?
Only if the listing says “Early birds OK”. Otherwise please respect the posted time.
Posting a sale
How much does it cost to post?
Every new town or city gets a Founding Season: household sales post free for its first 90 days of yard-sale season (winter doesn't count against it). Each place has its own end date — you'll see yours when you post. After that it's $4.99, and the first few sales each weekend in each town are free (five in most towns, two in small towns).
Is my address public?
Yes — the sale's address is shown on the map and sale page so shoppers can find you. Only post a place where you're allowed to hold the sale.
Can I edit or take down my sale?
You can take it down from your account page. Editing a posted sale isn't available yet — take it down and post it again with the changes.
What can't I sell?
Recalled or banned products (like drop-side cribs, or car seats that are expired, recalled or were in a collision), weapons, alcohol, cannabis, tobacco or vaping products, prescription drugs, live animals, and anything illegal to sell in your state.
How do I get more people to my sale?
After posting you get a share link and poster for Facebook groups, printable signs with a QR code, and a place on Friday morning's weekly list. Signs and posters work best a few days before.
Why can't I pick “business” as a personal account?
Your account type is set at sign-up and can't change. Household accounts post household sales; businesses need a business account. Running a business sale from a personal account gets it taken down.
Street & community sales
How do I organize a street sale?
Tap “Organize a street sale”. A street sale needs 5+ homes on the streets you name; a community sale needs 15+ homes within walking distance. You add each home's address and email and pay once for everyone (at a discount — free during Founding Season).
I got an invite from a neighbor — what do I do?
Tap the link in the email and sign in with that same email address. Your spot is already paid for — just add what you're selling and photos. Your home isn't shown until you do.
What's a town-wide sale?
A whole town's yard-sale weekend. Anyone can announce one for free (we check it first); it shows on the map with a gold star up to three weeks ahead. Households join by posting their own sale and ticking “part of the town-wide sale”.
Can I get into a street sale someone else is organizing?
Yes — open the street sale's page and tap “Message the organizer”. Your message goes to them by email and their reply comes back to yours. Turn on “Street and town-wide sales near me” in Notifications and we'll tell you when a neighbor starts one on your street.
Someone dropped out. Can I get a refund?
There are no refunds, but until the sale the organizer can pass an unclaimed spot to another home from the organizer page.
Last Call, messages & pickups
What is Last Call?
After a household sale, sellers can list what didn't sell — with photos and prices — until Friday at midnight. Then the whole board clears, so it's always this week's finds. It costs $3.50 if you add it while posting your sale, or $4.99 once the sale is already posted, for up to 40 items. Buyers pay you in person at pickup — never a deposit or payment first.
Can I see Last Call items from other towns?
Yes. In Notifications & interests, pick the places you'll drive to — a whole town, just one community (like only Chatham inside Chatham-Kent), or towns further away. “My Last Call” and the Monday email cover all of them.
What happens to my messages when the board clears?
The item comes off the board Friday at midnight, but your conversation stays for 7 days after the last message so you can finish arranging a pickup. Tap “Save for 30 days” in the conversation to keep it longer.
How do I pay for a Last Call item?
In person, when you pick it up at the sale's address. Never send a Venmo, Zelle or PayPal payment, deposit or a code first — nothing on this site ships.
Why can't I put a link in a message?
Links are the most common way scammers move people off-site. Describe it in words instead.
How do booked pickups work?
Either person taps “Book a pickup time” and the other confirms. The item shows as pending for everyone else. Cancel before the time if plans change — that's never held against you.
What's the “I'm here” button?
Tap it when you arrive for a booked pickup. It records how far your phone was from the address (only the distance, never your location) and tells the seller you're there. You need it if you want to report that no one answered.
What's a pickup record?
After a pickup each person says how it went: smooth, no-show, or problem. Others see your totals. 3 no-shows within 60 days blocks new Last Call conversations for 14 days. You can dispute a rating once from your account page.
Businesses & non-profits
I paid but changed my mind. Can I get my money back?
If your sale hasn't appeared on the map yet, take it down from your account page and what you paid becomes credit for your next sale — it comes off automatically, and you won't be taxed on it twice. If something went wrong on our side, we refund your card in full.
What does a business account cost?
$19.99 per sale or event — or a monthly plan: $39.99 for up to 2 listings a month, or $49.99 for up to 4. Make your sale first and see it before you pay. Cancel a monthly plan anytime from your Business page.
We're a church / charity / school. Do we pay?
No — non-profits post rummage sales, bazaars, fundraisers, book sales and non-profit craft fairs free (up to 2 events a month and 12 a year). Choose “Non-profit” at sign-up. Churches and charities give their IRS EIN (we check it against the IRS list); schools, libraries and clubs give their official website or email. We verify it before your first sale goes live.
Can staff help on sale day?
Yes. Business owners can invite staff by email to use the sale-day tally.
Account, privacy & safety
How do I delete my account?
Account page → Delete my account. Everything is removed except payment records and the few items our Privacy Policy lists (like ratings, kept 180 days so records can't be reset).
Can I download my data?
Yes — “Download a copy of my data” on your account page gives you everything we hold about you.
Who takes the payments?
All Spark Enterprises Ltd., the parent company, through Stripe. We never see your card number.
How do I report a sale or a person?
Every sale page has a Report button, and every conversation has “Report this conversation”. Reports go to a person on our team.
How is the help forum kept friendly?
Every post is checked before it appears — a word filter, then an automatic review for rudeness, spam and personal details. Anything unclear waits for a person. Three reports from different people hide a post until we look.
Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use Weekend Sales Finder, and we aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA. Every sale on the map is also in the list view. If something is hard to use with a screen reader, keyboard or zoom, email us and we'll fix it or help you another way.
